Bible Study at St. Bede's

bible studyBible Study occurs most Sundays after service and fellowship hour.  It is conducted by either Father Dominic Taranto or Deacon Hank Williams, and usually runs about an hour. Since many of our parishioners are well versed in history and theology, these classes are always engaging.

Thursday Night Bible Study

Thursday night study is open to all, but we especially desire to address high school students, college students and young adults who seek a more casual forum where there questions can be more completely discussed. Father Taranto teaches philosophy at Pima Community College and Christian apologetics at Pusch Ridge High School. This is your chance learn more about the history of the Bible and the Anglican tradition. We start with Bible Study at 6:30 PM and endevor to provide pizza around 6:00 PM. Drop in anytime and stay a short or as long as you desire.

We will be using the New King James Version study Bible.  You don't need it (or any Bible for that matter), but this is a good study aid.  The first series of classes will cover Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah, although the open forum means that tangents do occur.  Then we will take a look at what is of value and how value allows us to order our understanding and priorities.

If you have any questions please feel free to email Father Taranto.

If you think you are up to the challenge take the Bible Study Trivia Quiz. It's not a easy as you might suspect!
